Hoppers
1. If material is in the hopper pump out the remaining
material.
2. If the pump has failed:
a. Place a waste container beneath the plug on fit-
ting (61). Remove the plug.
b. Drain all material from hopper into the waste
container.
c. Install plug after material is no longer draining
from fitting (61).
3. Follow Pressure Relief Procedure, page 24.
4. Loosen fitting (61) and disconnect hopper from
pump.
5. Remove the recirculation line from the hopper and
place in a waste container.
6. Lift the hopper off of the mounting bracket.
7. Repeat for second hopper.
Optional Solvent Pump
1. Follow Pressure Relief Procedure, page 24.
2. Disconnect the fluid line and air lines from the sol-
vent pump.
3. Loosen the four screws that attach the solvent pump
to the cart (1). Lift and pull pump from the slots.
4. Refer to the Merkur Pump Assembly manual to ser-
vice or repair the solvent pump.
5. Follow the steps in reverse order to reinstall the sol-
vent pump.
