10. Reinstall oil drain plug. Torque to 180.3
N•m – 221.0 N•m (133 in-lbs – 163 in-
lbs).
11. Fill gearcase with 150mL of 80W-140
synthetic motor oil (Gravely p/n
00980720) or equivalent.
12. Reinstall oil fill plug. Torque to 180.3
N•m – 221.0 N•m (133 in-lbs – 163 in-
lbs).
13. Repeat steps 6 – 12 for other transaxle.
14. Reinstall wheel assemblies. Torque wheel
lug nuts to 81.3 N•m – 122.0 N•m
(60 lb-ft – 90 lb-ft).
15. Remove unit from jack stands and
remove wheel chocks.
CHECK FAULTS / WARNINGS
To determine if a fault / warning is present:
1. Turn the key switch to the on position.
2. Navigate to the maintenance screen on
the digital display (see Maintenance
Screen on page 22). If a fault or warning
code is present, see Fault Codes on
page 38 or Warnings on page 39.
Fault / Warning Locations
Location of issue causing fault / warning

• VCM = Center
• Battery = Rear
• Deck Controller = Left / Right / Center Deck
• Deck Motor = Left / Right / Center Deck
• Traction Controller = Left / Right Wheel
• Traction Motor = Left / Right Wheel
• Steering Sensors = Center
BATTERY ACCESS
1. Remove key and wait for moving parts to
stop and for hot parts to cool.
2. Open hood assembly. See Figure 33.
CHECK PARKING BRAKE
1. Engage parking brake lever.
2. Remove key and wait for moving parts to
stop and for hot parts to cool.
3. Push unit forward.
• If unit does not move forward, no further
action is needed.
• If unit easily moves forward, contact an
authorized Gravely EV dealer.
CHECK TIRE PRESSURE
See Specifications on page 45 for
recommended tire pressure.
