You can replace one of the two power supplies operating in 1+1 redundancy on the
S5130S-28F-EI and S5130S-52F-EI switches. To avoid device damage and bodily injury, make
sure the power supply is powered off before removing it.
To install AC power supplies on an S5130S-28F-EI or S5130S-52F-EI switch, choose the
CA-70A12 or PSR75-12A power supplies as a best practice.
The S5130S-28F-EI and S5130S-52F-EI switches each provide two power supply slots. One power
supply can meet the power requirement of the switch. You can install two power supplies on the
switch for 1+1 redundancy. Table3-1 describes the power supplies available for the S5130S-52F-EI
switch.
