Preparing for tool measurement

Facing a surface

 Workpiece face turning: Machine in X direction with the handwheel

 Retract the tool in X direction

 Define the faced surface as

workpiece datum:

Press the Z=0 soft key

Display: The actual value display now

shows 0 for the Z axis.

 Return to the setup menu:

Press the Back soft key

 Return to the main menu:

Press the Back soft key
