î Park the scooter on main stand on a
level surface in front of a wall.
î Loosen the bolt (1) and move the
headlamp up or down for correct focus.
OPERATIONS
For your safety, it is very important to take a
few moments before each ride to walk around
your scooter and check its condition. If you
detect any problem, be sure you take care of it
or have it corrected by your Authorised Hero
MotoCorp workshop.
PRE-RIDE INSPECTION
An improperly adjusted headlamp may blind
oncoming driver or it may fail to light the road
for safe distance.

î Improper maintenance or failing to correct a
problem before riding can cause a crash in
which you can be seriously injured.
î Always perform a pre-ride inspection
before every ride and correct if any problem.
î Engine oil level-Add engine oil if required
(page 54 ). Check for leaks.
î Fuel level-Fill the fuel tank when necessary
(page 14). Check for leaks.
î Front and Integrated brakes-Check
operation and if necessary, adjust free play
(page 16).
î Throttle-Check for smooth opening and
full closing in all steering positions.
î Tyres-Check condition and pressure
(page 19).

Vertical adjustment
Headlamp focus is factory preset. However in
case of adjustment required please follow the
steps as given below.
