(1) Side stand spring
î If the side stand indicator (2) does not
operate as described in steps 2 or 3, please
visit your Authorised Hero MotoCorp
workshop.
(2) Side stand indicator
Ensure that adequate care should be taken
while cleaning the side stand switch.
CAUTION
î Check the front forks by locking the front brake
and pumping the front fork up and down
vigorously. The suspension action should be
smooth and there should be no oil leakage.
î Check the rear shock absorber by pushing hard
downwards on rear grip while the scooter is not
parked on stand. The scooter action should be
smooth and there should be no oil leakage.

BULB REPLACEMENT
Refer to the Safety Precautions (page 48).
The bulb becomes very hot while the lamp is
“ON”, and remains hot for a while after it is
turned “OFF”. Be sure to let it cool down
before servicing.
Do not put finger prints on the headlamp bulb,
as they may create hot spots on the bulb and
cause it to break.
