WARNING
î Battery gives off explosive gases. Keep
sparks, flames & cigarettes away.
î Never use a fuse with a different rating from that
specified. It may lead to serious damage to the
electrical system or a fire due to short circuit.

î If the replacement fuse of the same rating
burns out in a short time, there is probably a
serious electrical problem on your scooter.
Leave the blown fuse in that circuit and have
your scooter checked by your Authorised
Hero MotoCorp workshop.
î Do not attempt to start or ride the scooter
without a charged battery, it can cause fusing of
the bulbs and permanent damage to certain
electrical components.
î Turn the ignition switch "OFF" before
checking or replacing the fuse to prevent
accidental short-circuiting.
CAUTION
Check the side stand for proper function.
î If the side stand is up, the side stand
indicator (2) should not glow.
î Check the spring (1) for damage or loss of
tension and the side stand assembly for free
movement.
î Check whether the side stand indicator (2)
glows when the side stand is down.
