2. Centrifuge with serial interface:
Connect the centrifuge's RS232 interface to the PC using an RS232
connection cable.
3. Centrifuge with PE connector:
If necessary, connect the PE connector on the back of the device to
an additional medical potential equalisation system.
4. For the centrifuge, order no. 4706-20: connect the nitrogen supply
according to the enclosed instruction sheet AH4706-20XX.
5. Check whether the mains voltage matches the specication on the
rating plate.
6. Connect the device to a standard mains socket using the mains
cable.

The buttons ash, depending on the centrifuge type.
The following indicators appear one after the other, depending on
the centrifuge type:
■ the centrifuge model
■ the program version and mains voltage
■ the rotor code (Rotor), the maximum rotor speed (Nmax) and
the centrifuging radius (R) of the last rotor recognised by the
rotor detection.
The centrifuging radius displayed is a default value that must be
adjusted depending on the accessories used.

When the lid is closed:
‘OPEN OEFFNEN’

When the lid is open: The centrifugation data of the last pro-
gram used or program 1.

2. Press and hold any button at the rst visual change in the display
(inverse display).
