2.2 Lockout Malfunction
The symptom of this fault is that a function operates when locked-out.
1. Verify that the cables for the handset, handset extension cable, ACP, and
control box are connected correctly.
Yes No
Connect the functional cables. Go to “Function Checks” on page
2-3.
2. Plug a known good ACP into the control box and verify correct operation.
The problem continues.
Yes No
Replace the ACP unit. Go to “Function Checks” on page 2-3.
3. Replace the control box with a known good control box. The problem
continues.
Yes No
Replace the control box. Go to “Function Checks” on page 2-3.
4. Contact Medicraft Hill-Rom Customer Service.
