10.2 Connecting a USB Flash Drive
Before connecting, read “Before connecting a USB ash drive” (p. 11) carefully.
Inserting the drive
InserttheUSBashdriveintotheinstrument’sUSBashdrive
connector.
• Do not insert a USB ash drive that does not support the Mass
Storage Class.
• Not all commercially available ash drives are supported.
• If the instrument does not recognize a USB ash drive, try a different
drive.
Removing the drive
VerifythattheinstrumentisnotaccessingtheUSBashdrive(to
outputorloaddata,etc.)andthenpullitoutoftheconnector.
It is not necessary to perform any “eject” operation on the instrument.
ScreendisplayswhenusingaUSBashdrive
The USB icon will be displayed at the top right of the screen when a USB ash drive has been
recognized by the instrument.
You can check the amount of available space on the USB ash drive as well as the drive’s capacity
on the File screen.
