2.3 Connecting the Power Cord
Before using the instrument, read “Before connecting a power cord” (p. 8) carefully.
Connect the power cord to the instrument and a power outlet.
You will need: The power cord (instrument accessory)

Turn off the main power switch.

Verifythatthepowersupplyvoltageconformstotheinstrument’s
specications.

Connect the power cord to the power inlet on the instrument.

Connect the cord to the power outlet.
If the power supply is interrupted while the main power switch is in the “ON” position (for example,
due to a circuit breaker tripping), the instrument will turn on automatically once power is restored.
