The following messages are displayed when the instrument detects an error or abnormal
measurement setting. If repair is necessary, contact your authorized Hioki distributor or
reseller.
• If damage is suspected, check the "Q&A (Frequently Asked Questions)" (p.160) section
before contact your authorized Hioki distributor or reseller.
• If an error is shown on the LCD and the instrument needs to be repaired, please contact
your authorized Hioki distributor or reseller.

LOW limit is higher than
UPP limit.
Cannot set because the lower
limit value is larger than the

Set an upper limit value that is
larger than the lower limit value.

Cannot set because the refer-
ence value setting is zero.
Set a reference value that is

Cannot enable while
comparator is ON.
Cannot switch ranges when
