4.2 Sensor Calibration
This section will explain how to calibrate the various sensors used in the qSCALE i2 System.
When the system is first turned on system may prompt the user to calibrate sensors.
Press the SET button to continue to the configure operation mode screen. The Configure Opera-
tion Mode Screen will show “Unready System! No Operation!” until all required sensors are calibrated.
IMPORTANT
The RCL is an operating aid that warns the crane operator of imminent overloading or of the
approach of the hook block to the boom head in order to avoid possible property damage or
injury to personnel.
The device is not, nor is it intended to be, a substitute for good operator judgment and/or expe-
rience. It does not remove the need for utilizing only recognized safe procedures during crane
operations.
