byte.
The
MSS
(Master
Summary
Status) bit
is
reported
on
bit
6
instead of
the
RQS (request
service)
bit.
The
MSS
indicates
whether
or not
the
device
has
at
least
one
reason
for
requesting
service.

table

for
the
meaning
of
the
bits in
the
status
byte.
