KEY
KEY
command/query
The
:SYSTEM:KEY
command
simulates
the
pressing
of
a
specified
front
panel
key. Key
commands
may
be
sent
over
the
HP-IB
in
any order
that
are
legal
key
presses from
the
front
panel.
Make
sure
the
instrument
is
in
the desired state before
executing
the
KEY
command.
The
KEY
query
returns
the
key
code
for
the last
key
pressed
from
the
front
panel
or
the last
simulated
key
press
over
the
HP-IB.
Key
codes
range
from
1
to
44,
zero
represents
no
key
and
will
be
returned
after
power
up.
Refer
to
table
7-2 for
key
codes.
