command/query
The
:MEASURE:PERIOD
command
places
the
instrument
in
the
continuous
measurement
mode
and selects
the Period
measurement.
The PERIOD
query measures
and
outputs
the
period
of
the first
complete cycle
on
screen.
The
period is
measured
at
the 50%
point
when
Standard
measurements
are
selected
and at
the
mid threshold
voltage
level of
the
waveform when User-Defined
measurements
are
selected.
The
algorithm
for
this
measurement
is:
if
the
first
edge
on screen
is
rising
then
period
=
(time
at
second rising
edge
-
time
at
first rising
edge)
else
