command/query
The EOI
command
specifies
whether
or
not
the
last
byte
of
a
reply
from
the
HP
54501A
is
to
be
sent
with
the
EOI
bus
control
line
set
true
or
not
true.
The
last
byte
of
a
response
is
usually a
"new
line"
character,
ASCII
decimal
10
(LF).
Note
EOI
must
be
turned
on
for
response
messages
to
be
in
compliance
with
IEEE
488.2.
The EOI
query
returns
the
current
state of
EOI.
