command/query
The
:DISPLAY:DATA
command
is
used
to
write
waveform
data
to
one
of
the
pixel
planes
in the
HP
54501A.
The
DATA
command
is
followed
by a block
of
binary
data
that
is
transferred from
the
controller to
a
specific plane
in the
HP
54501A.
Only
pixel
memories
1
and
2
may
be
written
to.
The data
is
in the
IEEE 488.2
definite
block
form
with
16576
bytes
of
data
preceded
by
seven
block
header
bytes.
The block
header
contains
the
ASCII
characters
"#800016576"
and
is
sent
prior
to
the
data
being
sent.
The
:DISPLAY:DATA
query
is
used
to write
waveform
data
from
one
of
the
pixel
planes
in
the
HP
54501A.
The
pixel
planes
available
are
planes
0
through
3.
The
DATA
query
causes
the
HP
54501A
to
output
pixel
data
from
the
specified
plane.
If
plane
0 is
specified,
the
HP
54501A will
transfer
the
active
display.
IfPMEMORYl
or
PMEMORY2
is specified
that
memory
will
be
transferred.
When PMEMORY3
is
specifed
the
half-bright
portion
of
the
display
(graticule,
markers,
and
displayed
memories)
will
be
transferred.
Note
The
pixel
planes
are
specified
by the :DISPLAY:SOURCE
command
with
PMEMORYO
through
PMEMORY3.
