*CLS
(Clear
Status)
command
The
*CLS
(clear status)
common
command clears
the
status
data
structures,
including
the
device
defined
error
queue.
This
command
also
clears
the
Request-for-OPC
flag.
If
the
*CLS
command
immediately
follows
a
PROGRAM
MESSAGE
TERMINATOR,
the
output
queue
and
the
MAV
(message
available)
bit
will
be
cleared.
