Parameter Description
AdminState Port administrative state:
• Online—Activates and prepares the port to send data. This is the
default.
• Offline—Prevents the port from receiving signal and accepting a
device login.
• Diagnostics—Prepares the port for testing and prevents the port from
accepting a device login.
• Down—Disables the port by removing power from the port lasers.
LinkSpeed Transmission speed:
• SFP ports: 2 Gb/s, 4 Gb/s, 8 Gb/s, or Auto. The default is Auto. 8

• XPAK ports: 10 Gb/s, 20 Gb/s, Auto
PortType Port types:
• SFP ports: GL, G, F, FL, Donor. The default is GL.
• XPAK ports: G, F. The default is G.
SymbolicPortName Descriptive name for the port. The name can be up to 32 characters
excluding #, semicolon (;), and comma (,). The default is Port n, where
n is the port number.
ALFairness Arbitration loop fairness. Enables (True) or disables (False) the
switch’s priority to arbitrate on the loop. The default is False.
DeviceScanEnabled Enables (True) or disables (False) the scanning of the connected
device for FC-4 descriptor information during login. The default is True.
