Setup files
Edit the setup files on the application server and backup server as needed.
Edit the files with a text editor using single-byte alphanumeric characters (SJIS code set). End
each line with a line feed.
Edit each item according to the backup needs of the user. Items which include brackets ([ ]) in
the list must be enclosed in single-byte brackets.

Setup file entries, description, and formatting:
• Comment — For entering comments.
In the following cases, everything from "#" to the end of line is ignored as a comment:
◦ When there is "#" at the start of the line
◦ When there is "#" in the line; and
all blank spaces before “#”–
– IP address before “#”
◦ Formatting examples:

• Lines consisting of only spaces or line feeds — Enter blank or line feeds when needed.
• Log output level — Specify the log output level for the log file.
You can change the log output level with the value of <level>.
See for the log output level to specify. NORMAL is the recommended value.

◦ Blank (no entry)
• Default backup mode — When a backup mode is not specified by requester, specify the
backup mode by default. If neither specified from this item nor GUI tool, the default backup
mode adopts Business Copy.
