8.14 Logging In to the RMC CLI
Operation Scenario
Log in to the rack management controller (RMC) CLI.
Two login methods are available:
● SSH
SSH provides secure remote login and other secure network services over an
insecure network.
To log in to the RMC CLI over SSH, connect a PC to the RMC management
network port by using a network cable.
● Login over the local serial port
Prerequisites
The RMC is operating properly.
