Step 13 Remove all cables from the DVD drive. See step (1) in Figure 7-48.

Step 14 Hold down the plastic latch on the DVD drive, and push the DVD drive outwards to remove it
from the chassis. See steps (2) and (3) in Figure 7-48.
Step 15 Place the removed DVD drive in an ESD bag.
