Figure 4-14 uses the UPS2000-G as an example. The UPS2000-A does not provide battery management
functions. Only startup and shutdown operations can be performed on the UPS2000-A.

Test Name

Shallow discharge test
A manual shallow discharge test designed to
test the short-time backup capacity after
long-time (60 days by default) battery
charging.
Capacity test
A manual deep discharge test designed to
obtain the battery discharge performance
data.
You can perform the following operations on the Control page:

When the shallow discharge test conditions are met, click Start to perform a shallow
discharge test.

When the capacity test conditions are met, click Start to perform a capacity test.

After a capacity test or shallow discharge test starts, click Stop to stop the test.

When batteries are in the float charging state, click Manual equalized charging to start
equalized charging.

When batteries are in the equalized charging state, click Manual float charging to start
float charging.
