6.12 Assembling the belt eyelet
The chain saw is tted with two eyes at the rear
edge of the chain saw housing, a rope eye and a
belt attachment eye. The belt attachment eye is not
tted on delivery.

Loosen the screw that holds the rope eye in place.
See Figure 35.

Fit the belt attachment eye in its mounting as
outlined in Figure 36. Insert the screw through both
eyes and tighten. Tightening torque of 2-4 Nm.

Note! It is important that the rope eye is tted cor-
rectly. See Figure 37 on how to t the rope eye.
