7.25 Assembling the piston and
cylinder

Oil the gudgeon pin bearing with two-stroke oil and
t it to the connecting rod.

Fit the piston with the arrow facing the exhaust
port, slide in the gudgeon pin and t the circlips in
place. See Figure 81. NOTE! Use new circlips.

Oil the piston and piston ring with two-stroke oil.

Lubricate a new cylinder base gasket with chain-
saw oil and put it in place. Compress the piston
ring and carefully push the piston into the cylinder
opening. See Figure 84.

Attach the cylinder. The cylinder screws must be
tightened crosswise with a tightening torque of
8-10 Nm.
