What to do if I have a Phase Monitor Fault on my Hypertherm Chiller?
    • A
      Angela NewmanAug 3, 2025
If the 'R' LED is not lit, it indicates a phase reversal in the main power supply. To correct this, swap any two of the three main power supply leads. If the 'Un' LED is not lit, it indicates a phase loss or imbalance. Check the incoming main power for a phase loss and inspect the power distribution circuit breakers. If the phase imbalance is greater than 10%, you may need a power conditioner for the main power supply. If the “R” LED is AMBER the main power is phased properly. If the “Un” LED is GREEN the main power is balanced.
