rsync, as a protocol, does not encrypt on
its own; however, rsync can enable/disable
the SSH encryption protocol (using option -e
ssh).
Configuring for Other Aspera Products
HST Server can be configured as the transfer server for IBM Aspera Faspex, IBM Aspera Shares, and IBM Aspera
Application for Microsoft SharePoint. It can also be configured and added as a node to Shares, IBM Aspera on Cloud
(AoC), and IBM Aspera Console.
