Note: This procedure must be pre-arranged in consultation with the
monitoring station.
Test the operation of each audible and visible warning device.
Consult the maintenance sheets for a list of all outputs to be tested.
Arm any relevant areas.
Activate each warning device, either by user operation or by
triggering an alarm which should cause activation.
Check that each warning device works as specified. Record and
report any discrepancies.
Reset/Restore alarm areas to their previous state.

basis. It is vital that backups be stored offsite for disaster recovery.
