Memory
SIGNALTEK test records are stored internally in the display unit
and can be copied to a USB memory drive. Internal memory
capacity is approximately 20,000 records. External memory
capacity is limited only by the size of the USB memory drive.
Stored record files can be copied to a PC using a common USB
memory drive device or be transferred to the PC from the
SIGNALTEK with the provided USB cable.
Tests:
The following table indicates which tests can be run on a variety of
cable types.
Note: All cable performance measurements
require the presence of at least two pairs of wires
terminated in accordance with the TIA-568 A/B
wiring configuration. Cable performance tests
cannot be run on cables terminated with the
USOC wiring configuration or on cables with fewer
than 2 pairs of conductors (i.e. coax, alarm,
speaker wire).
