Battery Charging Warnings
The DC power input port is not designed to charge batteries that
are installed in SIGNALTEK. However, it is possible that a
component failure may cause the unit to charge batteries causing
the batteries to rupture, damaging the SIGNALTEK or causing
personal injury.
To prevent accidental charging, IDEAL recommends that the
external power adapters only be used when batteries are not
installed in the tester.
