CRC
CRC = Cyclic Redundancy Check
CRC is a method of information technology to
determine a test value for data, to detect faults
during the transmission or duplication of data.
Prior to the transmission of a block of data, a
CRC value is calculated. After the end of the
transaction the CRC value is calculated again
at the target location. Then, these two test
values are compared.
Cycle time
This is the time for a cycle. The PLC program
performs one complete run.
Depending on event-controlled branchings in
the program this can take longer or shorter.
