7.4 System Settings
7.4.1 Setting the System Configuration
The system configuration is set in this menu.

The following parameters can be configured:

Field Entry Description
Device
Text Enter the device name of the matrix (default: SWITCH_01).
The device name is used as the host name in the network.
Name Text Enter the name of the configuration that is used to save the
current settings (default: Standard).
Info Text Enter additional text to describe the configuration if required
(default: Factory settings).
Sub Matrix Activated If the matrix is defined as a sub matrix in the OSD, the user will
lose control. Control can be recovered by using the keyboard
command Hot Key, s, o. The OSD for the matrix that has been
defined as sub matrix will be reopened.
Deactivated Function not active (default).
