6 CONFIGURATION
This section explains the various configuration options provided by the Web Configuration
pages for the following firmware versions:
5.3.x
Unless otherwise specified, each parameter applies to all variants.
Web Configuration pages
To access the Web Configuration pages, enter the IP address of your device into a web
browser. The Home menu is displayed.
IndigoVision devices support Microsoft
®
Internet Explorer (version 8 or higher
recommended). The Analytics menu requires Sun JRE version 1.6 or later.
To access any of the other configuration pages, click the required option in the menu on the
left of each page.
To save the changes made on any page, click Submit before navigating away from that
page.
Home
This menu is read-only and provides a basic configuration overview of the device.
Network
Use this menu to configure the network settings for the device.
Use DHCP Assigns the following Network parameters via a DHCP Server:
Host Name
IP Address
Subnet Mask
Gateway
DNS Server and Domain (if DNSSource set to DHCP)
Network Time Server Address (if enabled on the Date &Time page)
If the device does not receive any response from the DHCP server it will default to using the
network parameters last successfully applied.
