If you set this value too high, the camera may experience unstable exposure control. If you
set this value too low, the image exposure update time may be too long.
Flicker Reduction (Advanced option) Reduces the effects of light flicker on the camera.
When this option is enabled, the dynamic range is reduced, and the wide dynamic range is
disabled.
When NSTC is selected for the camera Output Standard, the Enhancedoption is available
for addressing issues arising with 50 Hz power supplies.
Day/Night Mode Sets the day/night setting. Select manual to set the camera to day or

Max Gain Night (Advanced option) Allows you to set the maximum gain used when the
camera is in night mode.
Sensor Noise Reduction (Advanced option) Specifies the pre- codec video filters.
Selecting a stronger filter will result in video with less signal noise at the expense of reduced
sharpness.
Persistence (Advanced option) Sets the minimum time between transitions from day/night
and night/day mode.
Gain Boost (Advanced option) Increases the Gain for the video by 6dB. This may
increase the image noise
Threshold (Advanced option. Only available when Day/Night Mode is set to Auto.) Allows

Iris Control
The cameras have an auto-iris circuit that sets the luminance level of the scene by adjusting
the camera iris position. During initial camera setup, the camera AGC should be turned off,
and the shutter speed fixed to the slowest setting. The auto-iris control can then be manually
adjusted using a small screwdriver to adjust the iris adjust screw to the rear of the camera to
obtain the desired level of brightness for the scene. Once adjusted, the AGC can then be re-
enabled.
The luminance of the video can be varied by:
The manual adjustment of the iris.
The Brightness setting in the Video menu (if AGC disabled).
The Shutter Speed setting in the Video menu.
Profiles
The active profile can be changed automatically based on events and the criteria defined in
this menu.
Use this menu to configure which events action which profile. When profiles conflict, i.e. two
different profiles are activated at the same time, the profile with the highest priority is chosen,
