1-8.5 How to replace a Host Board
1. Please contact your reseller when there is a hardware component that needs to be replaced.
2. Before replacing the host board, please take into consideration:
A controller/host board downtime would be needed if you replace a host board.
The controller would be set as factory default when adding or replacing a host board.
3. To replace the host board, you must remove the controller from enclosure. Loosen the screw that
secure host board to the controller, push the release lever and lift to remove the host board.
4. Use the guide pin to position the new host board to the host board slot, place it carefully (A), and fasten
the thumb screw to secure the host board in place (B). And then reinstall the controller back to the
enclosure.
