2-2.3 Volume
Volume is a logical unit that can be designated for block-level or file-level volumes. The storage resources
of the Pool can be freely assigned to either function. Users can build both types of volumes on the same
Pool. This is one of the key implementations of our unified storage solution.
You can manage the Volumes in GS via EonOne Settings > Storage > Volumes
You can manage the Volumes with the following actions
1. Create: Add a block-level or file-level volume on a pool.
2. Configure volume: Edit the existing volume.
3. Map to host: Create and edit LUN mapping for block-level volume.
4. Expand: Expand the capacity for volume.
5. Delete: Delete a shared folder.
