Every ARGUS device requires an address to identify it in the loop. There are two ways of addressing

addressing option.

At the SmartLoop panel keypad:

Main menu.

Programming - the panel will request code entry.
3. Enter the installer code (at default, the only active Installer code is
00004).
4. Select
Configuration> Change Configuration> Manual Configuration> Loop
(Configuration> Manual Configuration> Loop)
.
5. Select the Loop to be configured (
1 - 8).
6. Select the loop parameters.

If you select Auto-configuration, the control panel will enroll the devices connected to the loop
using the pre-assigned address (assigned by means of the VPU100) without changing devices
enrolled during previous operations.
If you Select the Auto-addressing option, the control panel will assign an address to each new
device (address 255) connected to the Loop.
If you select the Re-addressing option, any assigned addresses will be deleted and new addresses
will be given. All previously programmed data will be cleared.
12.Press the OK button - the panel will show the summary screen and ask for permission to continue.
13.Press the OK button to initialize the
