Loading a Certificate
If you choose to use transport layer security (TLS) with WPA or
802.1x security, you need to have a unique client certificate on
the CN3 and a trusted root certificate authority (CA) certificate.
Certificates are pieces of cryptographic data that guarantee a
public key is associated with a private key. They contain a public
key and the entity name that owns the key. Each certificate is
issued by a certificate authority.
To import a root certificate
1 Tap the <<< button next to the Import Root Certificate field
to select the root certificate (DER-encoded .cer file) to
import.
2 Click Import Root Cert to install the selected certificate.
Note: If you select to automatically connect to non-preferred
networks, the CN3 detects any new networks and provides you
with the opportunity to configure them.
