Allow Heat Wand to Pre-heat
1. Allow the Heat Wand 10-20 minutes to reach
the temperature setpoint and stabilize before
removing it from the Stand.
2. While the Heat Wand pre-heats in the Stand,
prepare the belt ends. See PREPARE BELT
ENDS on page 4-1.
Release Stand latches before trying
to remove the Heat Wand.
Contact with hot Heat Wand or Stand
will cause skin burns. Using heat-
resistant gloves and sleeves is recom-
mended.
Place the Stand on a hard, heat-resis-
tant surface (NOT a belt) during pre-
heat.
