Hazard Severity Panels
DANGER indicates a hazard with a high level of
risk. If you do not avoid this hazard, it will result in
death or serious injury.
WARNING indicates a hazard with a medium level
of risk. If you do not avoid this hazard, it could
result in death or serious injury.
CAUTION indicates a hazard with a low level of
risk. If you do not avoid this hazard, it could result
in minor or moderate injury.
Safety Symbols
A black symbol inside a black-banded
yellow triangle indicates a safety haz-
ard you should avoid.
A black symbol inside a red-banded
circle with a red diagonal line indicates
an action that is prohibited.
A white symbol inside a blue circle
indicates a required action to perform
to avoid a hazard.
