Trim the Tape
Trim the tape along the deck edge to prevent
tape contact with Heat Wand during Splicing.
Figure 13C: Trim tape width
Use the troughing groove(s) at the belt end as a
guide to trim and remove tape from the areas
with drive bars.
Figure 13D: Trim tape length
Make Adjustments: Adjust tape length, place-
ment, and layers as needed during alignment to
ensure belt top surfaces align.
Figure 13E: Finish belt end alignment
Wear safety glasses and use caution
when handling knives and trim tools.
