Symptom & Possible Causes Action to Take
Voltage/Plug Mismatch
Error in ordering or shipping Contact Intralox Customer Service or Technical Support to correct error.
Temperature Control Box Display is blank or shows S.Err
Connection problem 1. Ensure equipment and facility voltages match.
2. Disconnect and reconnect all Control Box and Wand Cord connections inspecting for dam-
age. See Make Power Connections on page 3-3.
3. Set Control Box Power to on.
Internal damage Contact Intralox Technical Support for help.
Wand Cord is damaged/kinked
Wear or incorrect storage Contact Intralox Technical Support for replacement.
FABRICATION TIP
Continued use with damaged components can damage the Heat Wand and belt material.
Heat Wand tape is damaged
Wear or damage Contact Intralox Technical Support for repair instructions.
Heat Wand has plastic residue
Residue not removed after last splice
Remove residue before and after every splice. See Allow Heat Wand to Pre-heat on page 3-5.
Teflon tape damage Contact Intralox Technical Support for repair instructions.
Contact with hot Heat Wand or Stand will cause skin burns. Using heat-resis-
tant gloves and sleeves is recommended.
Place the Wand Stand on a hard, heat-resistant surface (NOT a belt) during
pre-heat.
