15. Weigh cylinder assembly to be certain the filled weight is correct and equal to the total weight shown
on the cylinder label.
16. Replace the charged cylinder in the bracket and follow procedures outlined in Section 4 and Section 5
to reinstall the system.
17. Inform appropriate personnel that the system is back in service.
7.4 Recharging Remote Nitrogen Actuation Cylinder
Recharge consists of removing the remote nitrogen actuation cylinders and re-pressurizing them with
nitrogen.
Do not transport the cylinder unless the anti-recoil safety device is in place. Handle the cylinder assembly
with care even when the safety device is in place. All removable trim components shall be removed before
transportation.
Do not apply excessive force to the pressure gauge or attempt to carry the cylinder assembly or valve assembly
by the pressure gauge. The pressure gauge is not designed or intended to be used to carry the cylinder or valve.

or property damage.
7.4.1 Removing The Nitrogen Actuation Cylinder
Remove the empty cylinders by removing the actuation devices and discharge pipe and installing the
anti-recoil safety plug or device.
Do not remove the pressure gauge from the remote nitrogen actuation cylinder valve during the recharge process.
Remove the cylinder from the bracket only after ensuring all appropriate safety measures have been
complied with and all relevant warnings noted.
7.4.2 Servicing The Valve Assembly
If the Schrader core shows signs of damage, it shall be replaced.
