Working with the Dozer
Introduction

Remember that you will be driving the machine while you
are using the dozer. Keep alert for bystanders, animals and
possible hazards.
Ensure the slew lock is engaged when working with the
dozer.
Dozing and Grading
Keep the bottom of the dozer parallel to the ground. When
grading a site remove high spots first, then use this soil to
fill in troughs. Do not use excessive downward pressure on
the dozer or machine traction could be lost. When working
with the dozer, set the excavator straight with the machine,
as for road travel. Keep the dozer high when travelling as
this increases the machines ground clearance.
