The NIB-96 is suitable for Central Station, and Proprietary Protective
Signaling service when installed according to Figure 39 and the NIB-96
Network Interface Board Technical Bulletin in the Fire Management
Accessories Manual (FAN 445).

Digital communicators can be used with the control panel to form Central
Station Signaling Systems provided the following conditions are satisfied:
1. The DACT is the 911A Digital Communicator.
2. The Receiving Unit is an Ademco No. 685.
3. The 911A is installed in accordance with the 911A Installation
Manual, packaged with the 911A.
4. The communicator cabinet is installed in the control panel cabinet
with all interconnecting wiring installed according to the 911A
manual.
5. The controller, communicator, and receiver have a secondary power
source that can supply 24 hours of operating power.
