SECTION 3 - YKEP CONTROL PANEL OPERATION
Evaporator Pressure
Displays the present refrigerant pressure in the evapo-
rator (provided by transducer PE-111).
Evaporator Saturation Temperature
Displays the present saturation temperature in the
evaporator, as calculated from the evaporator pressure
transducer (provided by transducer PE-111).
Evaporator Refrigerant Temperature
Displays the temperature of the refrigerant in the evap-
orator (provided by RTD TE-111).
Evaporator Flow
Displays a green if there is refrigerant flow sensed
in the evaporator, and displays a if there is NO re-
frigerant flow sensed in the evaporator.
Actual Chilled Liquid Setpoint
Displays the present setpoint to which the chiller is op-
erating, whether controlled locally or remotely.
OVERVIEW
This screen displays a cutaway view of the chiller evap-
orator. All evaporator setpoints are maintained on this
screen. Animation of the evaporation process indicates
whether the chiller is presently in a “RUN” condition.
Animation of the liquid flow indicates the chilled liq-
uid flow switch senses flow through the evaporator.
DISPLAY ONLY
Leaving Chilled Liquid Temperature
Displays the temperature of the chilled liquid leaving
the evaporator (provided by RTD TE-100).
Return Chilled Liquid Temperature
Displays the temperature of the chilled liquid entering
the evaporator (provided by RTD TE-101).
Small Temperature Difference
Displays the difference between the leaving chilled liq-
uid temperature (TE-100) and the evaporator refriger-
ant temperature (TE-111).
