SECTION 3 - YKEP CONTROL PANEL OPERATION
OVERVIEW
This screen displays a cutaway view of the chiller
economizer, along with the Economizer Level Control
Valve. Setpoints relating to the economizer are main-
tained on this screen. The Economizer Level Control
Valve also can be manually operated from this screen.
DISPLAY ONLY
Economizer Level Control
PV
Displays the Economizer Level Control Process Vari-
able (PV) percentage.
CV
Displays the Economizer Level Control Value (CV)
percentage.
Evaporator Pressure
Displays the present refrigerant pressure in the evapo-
rator (provided by transducer PE-111).
Economizer Pressure
Displays the present refrigerant pressure in the econo-
mizer (provided by transducer PE-116).

Economizer Saturation Temperature
Displays the saturation temperature in the economizer,
as calculated from the voltage of the economizer pres-
sure transducer (provided by PE-116).
Economizer Target Temperature
Displays the target refrigerant temperature in the econ-
omizer.
PROGRAMMABLE
Auto / Manual
Access Level Required: OPERATOR
This key allows auto or manual control of the Econo-
mizer Valve. When the Auto/Manual key is grey the
control is set to Auto, and if they key is red the control
is manual.
Open
Access Level Required: OPERATOR
This key sends an open command to the Economizer
Valve. The Economizer Valve will increase 1% for
each depress, hold for repeat.
