SECTION 3 - YKEP CONTROL PANEL OPERATION
OVERVIEW
This screen displays a cutaway view of the chiller con-
denser, along with the subcooler valve. Setpoints relat-
ing to the subcooler are maintained on this screen. The
subcooler valve also can be manually operated from
this screen.
DISPLAY ONLY
Subcooler Level Control
PV
Displays feedback from Condenser Subcooler Level
Control Process Variable (PV) level sensor in percent-
age.
CV
Displays Subcooler Level Control Value (CV) control
setpoint in percentage of the Control Loop Output cal-
culation which drives the expansion valve orifice ac-
tuator LCV-114.
Evaporator Pressure
Displays the present refrigerant pressure in the evapo-
rator (provided by transducer PE-111).
SUBCOOLER SCREEN

Condenser Saturation Temperature
Displays the saturation temperature in the condenser,
as calculated from the voltage of the condenser pres-
sure transducer (provided by PE-113).
Subcooled Refrigerant Temperature
Displays the present refrigerant temperature in the
subcooler (provided by RTD TE-114).
Subcooling Effect
Displays the difference between the condenser satura-
tion temperature (PE-113) and the subcooled refriger-
ant temperature (TE-114).
PROGRAMMABLE
Auto / Manual
Access Level Required: OPERATOR
This key allows auto or manual control of the Subcooler
Valve. When the Auto/Manual key is grey the control is
set to Auto, and if they key is red the control is manual.
