Fault Contact
This field displays a green checkmark when the starter
fault relay contact is closed signifying no fault present.
The field displays a red X when the starter fault relay
contact has opened due to a fault not cleared.
Runtime Until Next Lube
Displays how many hours remain until the next sched-
uled motor lubrication is to be performed.
Oil Supply Pressure
Displays available oil pressure to the compressor.
Starting Current
Access Level Required: SERVICE
Defines the maximum allowed motor starting current
in amps. The Solid State Starter will limit the motor
starting current to this value. The correct value is (0.45
x Delta Configuration Locked Rotor Amps).
PROGRAMMABLE
Local Motor Current Limit
Access Level Required: OPERATOR
This key allows the user to specify the maximum al-
lowable motor current (as a percentage of FLA). When
the motor reaches this value, the pre-rotation vanes
will NOT be permitted to open further. In the motor
current rises above this value, the pre-rotation vanes
will close to reduce the current to this value.
Full Load Amps
Access Level Required: SERVICE
This key allows the technician to specify the maximum
current in amps at which the motor can operate.
Voltage Range
Access Level Required: SERVICE
This key allows the technician to specify the nominal
line voltage range for or Disable overvoltage and un-
dervoltage shutdown protection. The thresholds are set
based on the nominal line voltage range.
Reset kWh
Access Level Required: SERVICE
This key allows the technician to reset the cumulative
kWh.
Motor Lube Ack.
Access Level Required: SERVICE
This key allows the technician to reset the runtime until
next motor lubrication after the motor has been satis-
factorily lubricated.
Open SCR Check
Access Level Required: SERVICE
This key allows the technician to enable or disable the
Solid State Starter Open SCR Safety detection. This
must never be disabled unless under the advisement of
the chiller factory.
Short SCR Check
Access Level Required: SERVICE
This key allows the technician to enable or disable the
Solid State Starter Shorted SCR Safety detection. This
must never be disabled unless under the advisement of
the chiller factory.
Hold To Jog Economizer
Access Level Required: SERVICE
This key allows the technician to initiate a jog of the
economizer compressor motor for rotation verification.
The sequence counts a 20 second timer within which
the start criteria must be continually met, then initiates
pre-lube before run. Hold the key to maintain jog dura-
tion and release to stop.
